Step
2: Place Caution Signs
Place Out-Of-Service and/or Wet Floor
Signs in front of door.
Step
3: Sweep and Refill
After dusting all vents, partitions and lights, sweep the floor
with a broom. Empty all trash containers. Refill all soap dispensers,
towel and toilet tissue dispensers, seat cover dispensers, and feminine
hygiene product dispensers.

4: Pretreat Toilets and Urinals
Move to the toilet bowls and push the water over the trap with a bowl
swab to expose the standing water ring. Apply Clinging
Bowl Cleaner (#2841) evenly around the flush ring and bowl with
a clean bowl swab. Let the product work for 10 to 15 minutes.

5: Clean Sinks and Countertops
Using a clean sponge or white hand pad, spread Clinging Bowl Cleaner
(#2841)* evenly over entire sink. Scrub sinks clean and rinse with clean
water.
* Note: Do not use #2841 on marble or soft metals such as
brass.

6: Return to Toilet and Urinals
Swab toilet bowls and urinals as you flush to rinse. Pay close attention
to the underside of the flush ring.

FOR
RESTROOMS WITH FLOOR DRAINS
STEP
7A: Prepare Shower and Restroom Maintenance Unit
For restrooms equipped with a floor drain, walls, floor and fixtures
can be easily cleaned with the Shower and Restroom Maintenance Unit
and Foaming Restroom Cleaner (#605).

8A: Apply Foam
Foam down walls, partitions and fixtures, starting from the bottom and
working up. Let foam stand for 5 minutes.

9A: Scrub Walls, Floors and Fixtures
Scrub walls and floors with a swivel scrub brush. Then, rinse all surfaces
with clean water.

10A: Squeegee the Floor
When finished rinsing, squeegee the used rinse water into floor drain.
STEP
11A: Sanitize Walls, Floors and Fixtures
Remove grate from drain and clean. Spray sanitize walls and fixtures
using Quat Rinse (#2331). Let air dry. Finally,
spray sanitize the entire floor as you work your way out of the restroom.

FOR RESTROOMS WITHOUT FLOOR DRAINS
Step
7B. Prepare Cleaning Solution
Begin by filling a 2-gallon bucket with 4 ounces of Quat 44-HBV (#2318).

8B: Clean Walls and Fixtures
Using a clean cloth or sponge, wipe down the outside of toilets, urinals,
countertops, door handles, push plates, light switches, partitions and
walls. Heavily soiled walls and partitions may need to be cleaned with #6
All Purpose Cleaner (#2205).
Step
9B: Prepare Cleaning Solution
For restrooms without a floor drain, fill your mop bucket with Quat
44-HBV (#2318) diluted 2 ounces per gallon.

10B: Mop Floor
Work your way out of the restroom by working toward the door. For extremely
soiled floors, use #6 All Purpose Cleaner (#2205) to mop first, followed
by mopping with Quat 44-HBV (#2318).
