1996 - Article 2 A Superbase® customer of ours had been supplying this chain with a complete floor care program for a number of years. The products worked and top-notch service was being provided -- a win-win on all ends. However, it wasn't enough to overcome the relationship between relatives of a store owner and another chemical vendor. We lost the business throughout the chain. As store managers continued with their monthly meetings regarding risk management, some startling news emerged. While reviewing slip/fall statistics, a five-fold increase of slips and falls had taken place while using the competitor's products. The managers of these stores were persuasive enough with the corporate office to change back to Essential products. With
Essential, slips and falls returned to their historically low levels. |
