Stainless Steel Steam Tables

DAILY:

  1. Remove food containers to refrigerated storage as soon as serving is completed. Turn off steam and drain all steam wells before cleaning.

  2. Brush-wash all surfaces with a hot solution of Food Service Degreaser. This includes top, backboard, hoods (if any) front and sides. If baked-on foods are stubborn, use a dull metal/plastic scraper to remove them.

  3. Rinse with hot water and wipe dry.

    NOTE: Periodic deliming may be necessary if lime scale develops. If so, continue with the following method.

  4. Fill steam wells with water and add delimer.

  5. Turn steam on and allow hot solution to remain until all lime scale has been removed. Heavy lime scale might require light brushing.

  6. Turn steam off, drain steam wells and thoroughly flush with hot wate
