General Directions**

Descaling Dishwashing Machines: Fill scaled tank just below overflow level. Start machine. Add 4 ounces (1:32) of D-Limer per gallon of water. Let machine run until scale is removed. Apply full strength where spray does not reach! Scrape off excess. Drain tank. Refill machine with clear water. Run machine for five minutes to rinse thoroughly. Drain tank. Delime at regular intervals.

Water Lines, Submerged Water Heaters, etc.: Disconnect piping and use a funnel or glass measure to pour in small amounts of D-Limer. Let it work for 15 to 30 minutes; then flush thoroughly. If pipe is not completely cleaned, repeat process and allow D-Limer to stand in line for a full hour. Plug bottom of pipe if necessary. If the line is long, start cleaning process at lowest
possible point.

Stainless Steel Surfaces, Steam Tables, Drinking Fountains, etc.: For heavy scale, dilute 1:1 with water. Brush or spray on scale. Let stand 10 minutes, rinse thoroughly. Apply full strength for stubborn areas. Dilute to 8 oz. per gallon (1:16) for light scale.

Aluminum Surfaces, Coffee Urns, Tile, Walls, and Floors: Dilute 32 ounces per gallon (1:4), let stand for moment only. Rinse immediately. Extended exposure will etch chromium and soft metals like aluminum. Do not use on marble or terrazzo surfaces.
