FLOOR RESTORERS

What is the best restorer for a 1500 RPM machine?
Choose your restorer based on the application method, i.e., spray applied, mop applied or automatic-scrubber applied. The amount of restorer or dilution ratio may change with machine speed so consult the direction label.

If my finish requires more repair, can I increase the amount of restorer?
No. An additional pass with your burnisher will provide the necessary repair. Over-use/over-dilution of restorers can cause floor finish softening which leads to soil penetration and heavy black marking.

Can I dilute my floor finish with water and use it as a mop on restorer?
We do not recommend this procedure. It was popular many years ago and was called, "water waxing." It will cause you to strip more frequently by introducing dirt into the floor finish film. If additional finish is needed on the floor, follow proper scrub and recoat procedures using Citrus Scrub 'N Shine (#525).

How will floor pad selection affect the restoration process?
Floor pads should be selected based on the floor finish used and machine type and speed.

Can I remove the heavy soil and black marking in my finish without stripping?
Yes. This process is called deep scrubbing and recoating. Our Citrus Scrub 'N Shine (#525) is an ideal product for this procedure. You just auto-scrub with blue pads using Citrus Scrub 'N Shine. Rinse, then recoat with the finish of your choice. Your floor will look new.

What is the best way to clean and polish rubber-studded flooring?
We do not recommend applying finish to this floor. The best approach is to use Gelcon™ (#207) as a weekly cleaner/maintainer. Use the dual pad/brush method for best results.
