Equipment

How does one bottle dispense at both high and low flow?
The DCS bottle is fitted with a unique dual-flow straw with two pick-up tubes each with their own dilution tip.

Where are the dilution tips installed?
The dilution tips come pre-installed in the 2-liter bottles. New tips with each bottle mean less clogging and equipment malfunctions.

Is the DCS a proprietary system and can it be private label protected?
Yes. Proprietary function is provided by a unique set of "keys" molded into the bottles near the top. These keys are reconfigured to provide private label configurations.

When the DCS bottles are inverted, does chemical leak out?
No. The straw assembly has been engineered to be virtually leak-proof.

Is there cross-contamination when switching from one product to the next?
No. The dual straws have been uniquely designed with vacuum bulbs which ensure zero product carryover.

What configurations are available for the equipment?
Unlike other systems, the DCS system requires only one dispensing unit to dispense all products at either flow rate. The Wall Mount Unit (EQDCSNAWEB) has a small footprint requiring only 8 inches of wall space. It works nicely for closet and other central locations. A Portable Unit (EQDCSNAMEB) is also available. A 4-Bottle Rack (EQDSCRACK4) is available for bottle storage.

Are the units easy to install?
Installation is simplified with a mounting plate which can be easily removed from the unit and placed directly on the wall. There is no need for cumbersome mounting templates. Easy to follow directions are found in each carton.

What routine maintenance is required for the DCS?
DCS has been designed to eliminate troublesome maintenance areas found in other competitive systems. There are no check valves to replace and the tips are new every time a new bottle is installed. Back-flow protection is provided with e-gaps which virtually eliminate hard water scaling problems.

Can the 2-liter DCS chemicals be used with the System 2000™ Compact?
Yes, but you must use a special DCS Conversion Cap (EQDCSRTRCAP) (not the standard black cap that comes with the System 2000 Compact) to draw chemical from the 2-liter bottle.

Can the DCS system use 1900 ml bottles from the System 2000?
No. Because of the dual-flow mechanism, 1900 ml bottles are not compatible.
