Dilute
Bonnet Buff as Follows:
For light soil or frequently maintained carpet - 8 oz./gal. (1:16)
For moderate soil - 10 oz./gal. (1:12)
For heavy soil - 20 oz./gal. (1:6)
Dry
Bonnet Method:
-
Mix solution in pump-type garden sprayer.
- Prespray
traffic lanes and spots.
- Prespray
dry bonnets before use. This lubricates pad and reduces drag on carpet.
- Prespray
carpet section to be cleaned. Divide carpet into areas approximately
10' x 10'. If soil is light, buffing can start immediately. For heavier
soiled carpeting, wait 5 minutes before starting to buff to allow
the chemical to work.
- Bonnets
will clean, depending on soil, between 100 and 250 sq. ft.
(10-25 m2) per side. As bonnets get soiled, flip over to clean side
and continue buffing.
Wet
Bonnet Method:
Immerse the bonnet into a bucket of diluted carpet cleaner solution.
Wring out excess solution. Proceed buffing, turning and changing the
bonnet pads as they get soiled.
